Vinay Gunasekaran
Research Associate, Mechanical Engineering
Vinay graduated in 2009 with a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh. As a Graduate Research Assistant, he was associated with the Robotics Institute at CMU. As an undergraduate in India, he worked on Embedded Computer Systems and received his bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Currently, he is interested in research areas which overlap between hardware and software. For example, developing a novel algorithm, and then confronting the specific challenges involved with implementing it efficiently in hardware.
