Professor James Duncan has been selected to receive the 2003 Poole and Kent Company Senior Faculty Teaching Award. This award consists of a handsome wall plaque and a prize of $1,000. Dr. Duncan was selected for this award in recognition of his dedication to teaching in the classroom, his encouragement of students to master course topics, and the creativity he has shown in the development of new approaches to traditional courses.

Associate Professor Linda Schmidt has been selected to receive the 2002 Engineering Faculty Service Award. This award consists of a handsome wall plaque and a prize of $500. Dr. Schmidt was selected for this award in recognition of her outstanding service, dedication, and commitment to the A. James Clark School of Engineering.

These awards will be presented at the Clark School's Commencement on Friday, May 23, 2003.
