The Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Maryland, College Park will be hosting a Research Day on Monday, March 19, 2007. The purpose of the event is to update the technical community on the wide range of high quality research being conducted in the ME department and to encourage further participation.

Research Day will kick off a week of research review meetings for both the Center for Environmental Energy Engineering and the CALCE Electronic Products and Systems Center. Planned events include a technology leadership workshop session, research presentations by the faculty, posters of individual research projects, and displays by the research centers, followed by a dinner. The function will be held at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center. Decision makers from industry, government, and academia, along with university alumni, faculty, and graduate students are invited to attend.
