Chandrasekhar Thamire (mechanical engineering), Robert Bonenberger (materials science and engineering) and Kevin Calabro (aerospace engineering) have been selected to join Keystone: the Clark School Academy of Distinguished Professors.

Keystone instructors make a commitment to the improvement of education in fundamental engineering courses. The program is a renewable three-year appointment that includes a base salary increase, discretionary funds to support the recipient?s activities and additional support personnel.

Keystone aims to help improve student retention and graduation rates by ensuring students the best learning experiences in the early, formative stages. With the addition of these instructors, there are now 12 instructors and professors participating in the program.
