Students taking courses in the School of Engineering?s Resnik lecture hall this semester will be treated to a newly renovated technology classroom. EIT completed the renovation of EGR 1202 over the summer 2011 break.

Many upgrades were done which increased the room?s functionality as well as make it more aesthetically pleasing. Some of the main changes to the room include: replacement of the ceiling and flooring, removal of the old stage, rebuilding the front wall to accommodate a new professor workstation, adding acoustical panels to the rear of the room and installing a new 4? x 16? horizontal whiteboard with four sliding panels. Seating capacity was also increased to 196 with the addition of new fixed seating that includes power outlets at each seat. In addition, the room?s projection screens have been repositioned for better visibility.

Professors will enjoy using a variety of technology equipment which is now controlled from a new professor workstation located in the front of the room. Available items include; professor PC, sound system, wireless microphone, DVD, VCR, overhead projector, document camera, and two Sony video projectors.
