The computer security magazine's executive editor interviews the researchers about their unique partnership that is studying how the social makeup of a computer network correlates with the attacks used against it. Cukier and Maimon explain why organizations are often misguided in their defense strategies and how security can be improved by IT professionals taking a deeper look at the routines and social backgrounds of their user base.
