DARPA CRANE: Aircraft Design with Active Flow Control

Kevin Uleck (Ph.D. ‘03) Program Manager & Chief Engineer Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation
BIO: Dr. Kevin Uleck is a UMD alumni with over 20 years unmanned aircraft systems experience spanning fundamental research through fielded system support. He has served in roles spanning Project Engineer to Chief Engineer to Program Manager while working on fourteen different UAV systems, including first flights of six unique vehicles. He joined Aurora in 2002 after completing Ph.D. studies at UMD and has also worked at Raytheon Missile Systems and Textron Systems Unmanned Systems (formerly AAI corporation). He is presently leading Aurora’s DARPA CRANE program.
