NAVAIR Day The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is the agency of the US Department of the Navy responsible for the development and support of naval aircraft, weapons, and systems operated by the US Navy and US Marine Corps. We employ more than 10,000 federal employees performing research, engineering design, development, and test & evaluation, as well as in-service engineering and logistics support for repair & modification of naval aircraft and weapon systems. At NAVAIR Day, we will have hands-on displays of in-house capabilities and opportunities for you to learn how your skills and education can impact US Navy capabilities. Hiring managers, Human Resources representatives, and working engineers will be available to discuss the exciting and rewarding career opportunities at NAWCAD. Note, students must be U.S. Citizens - security clearances are required. NAVAIR is seeking juniors through master's level students in aerospace, computer, electrical, materials, and mechanical engineering; CS & data science, physics, and math. Positions are located at NAS Patuxent River and Webster Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, MD Day event with exhibits and information sessions - presentations about the work done at NAWCAD.
