JHU APL Information Session Are you an engineering or STEM student that wants to have an impact on nationally important defense programs? The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), located halfway between Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC, is a nonprofit Research and Development laboratory conducting advanced technical programs for the Navy; NASA; the Departments of Defense, Energy, and Transportation; the National Institutes of Health, and other Federal, state, and local agencies. The work includes projects in radar, communications and signal processing, missile guidance and control, submarine systems test and evaluation, space instrumentation and satellite systems, software engineering, and general systems analysis. APL is looking for interns and entry-level candidates: BS, MS & PhDs (Juniors - PhDs!). Aerospace, Bioengineering, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Fire Protection, Materials, Mechanical, Reliability, and Systems Engineering as well as CS, Math and Physics. US Citizenship Required. Minimum GPA is 3.0
