The Women in Engineering (WIE) Advisory Board has established the Women in Engineering Opportunity Scholarship. The purpose of the Opportunity Scholarship is to help recruit and retain high-performing students as well as provide support in financial emergencies. Members of the advisory board have contributed to a newly established endowment fund, as well as to a fund that allows for awards to be made in the current academic year.

To-date, the following members of the advisory board have made leadership contributions to the launch of the endowed fund:

  • Cynthia Edgerton (president at Edge Space Systems)
  • Marilyn Berman Pollans (former Clark School associate dean)
  • Jenny Regan (CEO of KeyTech and current WIE board chair)
  • Paige Smith (director of the Clark School's WIE program)

The above donors hope to inspire alumni and other members of the Clark School community to join them in supporting the scholarship. The fund will be administered by the Women in Engineering program at the Clark School.
