Dr. Jin-Oh Hahn, Assistant Professor

 

The University of Maryland’s Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomes Dr. Jin-Oh Hahn as Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Hahn received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Seoul National University, and his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hahn comes to the department from the University of Alberta, where worked as an assistant professor for two years.

Hahn’s research focuses on condition monitoring of dynamic systems based on control system approaches. Some examples of his work include health monitoring and disease diagnosis in cardiovascular systems and patient-tailored drug response prediction and titration via a closed loop control.

Hahn is a member of the ASME and IEEE and an Associate Editor of the ASME's Dynamic Systems and Control Division. For more information on Hahn, visit his faculty profile page.
