Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE) Research Associate, Dr. Diganta Das, was featured in a recent Dare to Know hosted by Tim Rodgers on the website Accendo Reliabilty.

Das is an associate editor of the Elsevier Journal of Microelectronics Reliability, and his work at CALCE includes emphasis on the educational aspects of the center—as part of UMD's curriculum and professional development.

He is a Science Fellow of the MIRCE Akademy of UK and recipient of Surface Mount Technology Association's (SMTA) Distinguished Technical Member award.

In the podcast, Das discusses: how CALCE works to create physics of failure models; how the physics of failure approach improves reliability; and pursuing your advanced degree on campus or remotely while working full time.
